Is there anyone able to reterminate an unbalanced Headphile Blackdragon recabled Grado GS1000 to balanced XLR and who lives in Europe (Belgium/Netherlands/France/Benelux)?

If you find out for sure that the cable itself is "balanced" as in having seperate ground wires i think the Job would be rather easy even though one might better desolder the cable at the cups before the new connector is soldered on to prevent heat damage. I'm certain there are enough capable and suitable people on here..

From Lad27: "I have been told from Drew lately that " ... The cable geometry is balanced and is wired the same on the headphone end of the cable. The other end where the plug is can easily be changed whenever you decide to go to a balanced rig... "

As suggested in that thread aswell, if you dont find a DIYer that wants to do it on here, check electronics repair stores or maybe better, a Radio Club or something alike

the GS1k has been shipped to Drew, I hope I won't have any trouble with the customs on it's return (delay)

Yesterday I received my reterminated GS1000 and it sounds awesome! I am so happy! I didn't expect it would arrive so fast.
