They're $70 on Amazon, so if they're priced even slightly in line with their quality, and we all know how that's always true, heh, for $25 shipped you can probably do worse.

Let us know.

Here are the two reviews from Amazon, comparing the two (V-Moda and Lenntek's)
=================================================

V-MODA Vibe Earbuds (Gunmetal Black)
Price: $81.19

2.0 out of 5 stars Not quite what I had expected., June 4, 2008
I was eyeing these buds eversince they showed up on the shelves of Cos***. They recently had a coupon sale and offered $10 off which I thought was good enough although shelling out $69 for earbuds still seemed high for me, but I thought "ehhh these are probably very good ones".

As a semi-pro musician on the side, I am very particular in sound quality and have access to studio quality equipment. I must admit that I was very impressed with the appearance and total packaging of the vmoda. My wife saw them and immediately wanted one for herself. I read somewhere that you have to break-in the buds and let it play for atleast a week to get the sound right which I did... I set my mp3 player at a comfortable listening level and left it alone playing thru the buds. After about 30 hours of continuous playing, I picked it up, filled with excitement and started to try enjoying them. This is when I noticed that no matter what I did, the bass although powerful, sounded muddy, boomy and kinda drowned out the rest of the ranges. I tried adjusting the sound setting on my mp3 player and even messed with the equalizer setting to no avail... and yes this is a high end mp3 player with quality mp3 files the lowest quality files ripped at 192kbps. My wife's ipod earphones although lacking the bass sounded better than the vmoda. I just couldn't get the mid and high range I mean I could hear them but it was like I was listening from outside of someone elses car like one reviewer mentioned. This even when I had turned off all the bass options on the mp3 player.

Anyway, I was going to continue hoping that it gets better during the "break-in" period (which I thought I had done already) but then I got an email from Cos*** which had a link to another vmoda lookalike that they were having a special on (the lenntek sonix). So I ordered those and returned the vmoda. I couldn't have made a better decision! Read my other review on the Sonix. You too might like that a lot better not to mention they cost less than half!

Lenntek Sonix High Definition Precision Billet Aluminum Earphones (Black)
from $55.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little product for the Price! A great Vmoda alternative. Comparison review., June 4, 2008
I kinda gambled on these buds when I ordered them from Cos***. They had them on sale as part of their online offer. Without even getting these in the mail yet, I returned the Vmoda that I got a week ago (I'll do a separate review on the vmoda)

Packaging was not as impressive as the Vmoda buds nor did it come with a black leather pouch but it did come with 2 other pairs of silicone buds. The small and large size buds.

The Nylon wrapped chord was a great idea and just made this look a little more sturdier than the vmoda although I'd have to admit that the craftsmanship of the buds and the plug was not as impressive as the vmoda (I was tempted to give it a 4 star because of that but then I realized the sound was more of the issue here rather than appearance). Soundwise, I would say that they are very close. Infact I'd have to admit that I kinda like these alot more than the vmoda not because I own these now, but because I can hear a great deal of the mid and higher range and the sound is not drowned out in bass, boomy or muddy. Careful not to insert them too tightly if you dont want to get the boomy sound. Find the best fitting silicone bud that works for you to get the sound that you like and enjoy the wonderful sound of this great product... I've already placed a second order for my wife... Hurry and get them now!

hopefully they come soon. I was considering getting the sound.fi 3's from costco ($65), but maybe I can use these lennteks as a half step until i can get the money for the super.fi 5's

I just want some IEM's for the plane (japan in 2 weeks woot), and i'm tired of these Sony EX51's.

Well, I took the gamble for $25 from Costco, I figure even if they sound like relative cr*p, if they're an upgrade from sets like iPods, and all the other junk issued as stock, then it's totally worth it.

Another review from FatWallet Forums:

"I ordered them with the idea of returning them if they stunk. Got them yesterday. I will keep them. Similar to the Sony's in fit and feel, but a bit more sturdy. I like the wrapped cord. I am no audiophile, but the sound is great IMHO."

I just got them, and listened for about 15 minutes. I'd like to have used them with my head amp system, to get a clear representation against my Senns, but I have no adapter at the moment!
Anyhow, I used my laptop running Vista as a source with a few lossless files I have.

First impression is that this is an OUTSTANDING value. For $25, they simply cannot be beaten. I've heard worse at three times the price. They are a clear jump over any kind of 'stock' earbud, and comfortable right out of the box to boot.
If any immediate criticism or comment, it would be that there seems to be a hump in the low mids. The low bass extends pretty deep for earbuds though, so this may be the tradeoff. I for one will take a little extra low mids over the tinny, raspy sound of iBuds any day.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not hearing anything like what one might spend for top or high quality IEM's, but I'm totally happy with what I spent.

I want to listen to them some more before writing any big details, but anyone thinking about the $25 deal, go for it, the value is huge. Even at $50 or $75 I wouldn't be disappointed.
