Forgive me if a stupid question or it's been answered before.
Im listening to some jazz on my headphones. Sax is predominantly coming from left headphone cup (old recording with unsubtle panning).. so sax, LHS.

Play same through my speakers, sax coming out of left speaker, but that is now my rhs as I face the speakers.

Should I reverse the channels on one set up (easily done) and if so, headphones or speakers. I suspect headphones need swapping.

Any polite replies welcomed.

I think I know the answer. I need to reverse. On headphones

If watching a action movie. Gunshot on left speaker needs to come out of rhs headphones cup.
