Hi there! I got a Pioneer SE-DJ5000 headphone. It's 3-4 years old now and I still like it. However the leather on the earpads are now rather hard than soft. Now it is quite uncomfortable after longer use. I don't want to replace the pads to new ones, because they would cost the third of the price of the headphone. Anyone has any idea how to make the earpads soft again? Anyone had the same problem before with any other headphone? Regards, Lanno

There are cleaners and oils designed to restore leather (shoes, gloves, etc.) which would probably work fine. Use it sparingly and start with an out of the way spot to test it.
