Over the weekend i got my beyerdynamic 770 leather pads for my m audio q40s and i have to say i am quite disappointed. I got these ear pads assuming they would bring the driver farther away from my ears but that was not the case. Instead i found they made the bass over powering and muddy. I plan on returning them so i was wondering what pads you guys recommend for the q40s that keep the bass strong but wont make it muddy , and will stop my ears from touching the driver. I personally was thinking the alpha pads but would like some feed back first, Thanks guys.
