Eh what are those? Looks cool but are those designed for monitor/close listening?

Beats alligator skin for looks by quite a wide margin imo. Looks like the only version in creator package currently. You can't get vegan pads in that package? I don't see any weight difference indicated anywhere.Website not clear. How long since release? Anybody heard?
