I'm in the market for a new TV. However space is at a premium in the tiny living room we have.
I've been thinking about buying a 17" LCD screen and a TV tuner as a way to save space and go digital with recording TV etc. Plus LCD's are cheap and it seems like a TV tuner can be bought for less than $100.
Has anyone tried this and if so how did it work? Are the there issues to know about buying a TV tuner? Are there key things to look out for in an LCD if planning to use it for TV/DVD? Any top-notch message boards similar to head-fi that cover these topics?
