I have the LCD-2 (r1), and lately I can no longer get a seal on the cups.  The right cup is okay, but the left cup sticks out at least a half an inch at the bottom not providing any kind of seal whatsoever.
Any suggestions as to what to do would be greatly appreciated.

Well sounds like the pad is getting worn out, sliding off its frame. Might be time to get new ones. Could be the glue holding them on failing too. Being rev1, they might not have had as well developed adhesive. Hit up Audeze or Dekoni for a new set. Tho like the poster above has said, pics would definitely help with diagnosis.
