I'm looking at getting a pair of these for my D5000s but I'm having a tough time deciding what to do. I won't get them damped because I love the stock Denon sound too much to risk it if I do get them.

Do they improve the soundstage and SQ enough that it's worth $230? And how much heavier are they than the stock cups?

I have had the Bubinga wood cups from Mark on both my D2000 and D5000. I have enjoyed them tremendously and find the sound is more refined with a deeper and more balanced bass.
