I actually do not use last.fm at all, but I did it to see if I can find someone with a highly similar music taste. It is difficult for me to pick 8 of my favorite artists to represent my music taste at last.fm. I listen to lots of genres; I have about 2.5TB of music from genres of New Age, Vocal, Instrumental/Acoustics, World music, Downtempo, Bluegrass, Rock, Jazz and Classical.

Edit: It seems that since I listen to different/diverse genres, my music compatibility with other Headfi'ers are either "low" or "very low". Probably last.fm just counts how many artists that you list are the same, for example, if two people share 5 of the same favorite artists, it is considered as "low compatibility".

I listen to MOG more often (to listen to music that I do NOT own), but my MOG list does not really reflect my true music taste like my last.fm profile does.

As for internet radio, I use MOG.com to listen to music that I do NOT own.

I'm pretty sure you can scrobble with MOG.

I've only been listening to Radio Paradise lately, and I can't even scrobble at work because of a proxy server, but here it is. I deleted (literally deleted, everything gone) my account back in 2008, because I probably had about 20-25k scrobbles almost all of which were metal, and my overall taste was changing, so I couldn't take the "shame" lol. However I regret it very much today, it would've been great to see how my taste changed in time, it's sad that you can't reverse a deleted account.
