Howdee-
From what I've read,the best sounding transportable/semi-portable rig is iRiver H140 (optical out)/microdac/___amp,correct?

But I'm really digging my Imod/LaRocco PRII combo.

Will the proposed LaRocco portable Dac work with my Imod via mini cable?

Is there another portable dac that uses a mini cable to connect to ipod/imod?

Well, whenever, Larry and Phil get their DAC out the door, still issues to work out, I guess, and other projects in the hopper, it is supposed to have optical, coaxial, and USB input, so if your imod can accept those, that would be a nice match for your PR2, that's what I'm waiting for. I got in on the group buy for the PR2 and waited for that, and I've learned to be patient, with these boutique products.

There is no way to connect an ipod to a external dac. You need a digital out. RWA is a analog line out only and Vinnie can not add a digital out. Ask him.
