OK, I'm excited now....

Larry just e-mailed with the following news in reply to my email. It looks like we're all going to be happy very soon.

Most of the PR's including yours will be sent out
tomorrow. Your unit has the original font and will
have the new AD8066. There is a picture of your
amplifier on the LaRocco Forum in the Pocket Reference
section. http://www.quantum-thought.com/viewtopic.php?t=44

You guys are gonna love your amps!! I'm listening to Tracy Chapman as I type and I can't think what could possibly improve this. It's just silky smooth!! And the grin just keeps growing wider and wider and wider..

Up to now, the available options for maxxing out the PR were the following:

1.) Cardas RCA jacks;
2.) [up to] 4 stacked output buffers; and
3.) Black gate capacitors.

Larry told me that they have introduced a fourth option:

4.) Black gate capacitors for the output buffers.

I do not recall the pricing, but it sure sounds interesting.

The only option I'm missing is the stepped attenuator...

My replacement PR (expected delivery date mid to late June) will probably have an Alps pot in addition to being ultra-maxed-out (blackgates everywhere, etc.). As the Alps pot would require a slightly larger chassis, I am not yet sure whether or not it will be installed, but will keep you updated.
