Already have M-Audio Transit to external DAC (24/96) and using Foobar to resample but getting lots of pops & crackles. The Creative Audigy 2 NX is no longer available. Can anyone suggest another currently available device that that accesses WINXP laptop through USB 2.0, has stable drivers, uses external power supply, and converts to SPDIF preferably coax but will settle for fiber (Toslink).
