You can buy a Coax audio/Component video breakout box for the Dell **20 series from the Accessories store. It is only $12.

My old Dell xps 2 has one of the worst headphone outs I've encountered. I've never tried a breakout box, which was supposed to have spdif for this model iirc, as trying to get one at a decent price is nearly impossible in this country.
