I've never heard anything from Labtec that didn't sound horribly cheap & crappy to my ears (admittedly, after a few experiences like that I started steering completely clear of Labtec products).

Everything I've heard from Labtec has sounded pretty cheap too. It's still better than Coby though.

Which one made me realize first (at a very young age) that even with a $35 tape walkman, the quality of the headphone definitely counts, and that you should not skimp. (Answer: Labtec!)

They could possibly be identical in sound if they both re-brand OEM products. I know Coby does that a lot, never heard of Labtec before.
