Getting excited about this. More and more I sense that THE Show Newport is going to become one of the more important shows....no, I'll take that back, I think it's going to be one of the most fun shows to visit in the US.  After getting back from the High End show in Munich, I see there's a possibility of doing audio shows a bit differently than we normally think about it, and in that regard, I think the Newport show is actually doing things quite a bit differently to make the show much more fun to attend.

Can't wait.

Oh, and riding my bike down to the show is also a biggie for me. I'll be grinning all the way there.

How did I miss this thread???

BTW, for anyone planning to go all three days, don't even bother spending $40 on the three-day pass.  Just pay the LAOCAS membership fee (which is also $40) and go all three days for free.

I just heard from Jude today, and he says he's going to try and make it!
I sincerely hope he does.

Me too!  Been a long time, hope to see him there!

It'll also be my first time meeting Tyll.  If I snap some good pics, I should have some great avatars for next February.

I'm SO psyched you're coming Tyll!  Jude shared a review I wrote about the Headroom Total Bithead last year for The Daily Swarm.
I told him later that you sent it to me - and it was the very first USB DAC I ever used (except for pro gear), not to mention it ran on 4 AA batteries!
Ahead of it's time?  I THINK so.

My friend Jim uses it to this day.
I rock the clear limited one you guys did.

Psyched for the headphone panel this year too.
Let's have some FUN!!
