Hi all
Just looking for some suggestions on tube rolling with this amplifier
Currently running Sylvania 6j5gt drivers and Sylvania 5998a power tubes.
These tubes are my favourite at moment, alternative tubes I have are brimar 6j5gt, pinnacle 6j5gt , Russian reflector and the usual rubbish Chinese ones, these are drivers.
Power tubes are stock Chinese, Svetlana winged ' C '
Unfortunately I'm not made of money so no 200 dollar a piece tubes
Anything under 100 dollars a pair

Looks like I'm on my own in this one.
Heard that the rca special reds are ones to look for, just wondering if this is true.
Noticed a pair on eBay the other day but apparently they were rebranded Sylvania / rca which got me thinking they maybe the same as what I'm already using, can't tell though physically due to the reds been a metal case.
Hopefully someone can shed a bit of light on the matter.

There is a ton of good info and tube recomendations in the La Figaro 339 thread. Within the last few pages of the thread, myself and others have posted a list of good tubes as well.
