This is the third version of the KSC75 headband modifications I've been working around with. And so far, this one is the cheapest, most effective, and non-sound changing I've found so far. The Big Lots store I went to (I still haven't gone to the second one yet) didn't have any Accuras but they did have this...

You will need the following:
-A Big Lots store near you or someone who will buy you something at the Big Lots near them.
-Duct tape
-A dollar

Before you get into it, here are the differences from other versions...

+The 3.0 headband is indefinitely avaliable at Big Lots. Apparently Lenoxx has changed the radio headsets to include earbuds, therefore finding this headband is tricky.
+Cheaper.

#2
+No changes in sound due to clampage. The CV130 headband really clamps on your head and makes things uncomfortable.
+The CV130 is questionably open. I noticed a poor midrange. This headband is without a doubt open with a gaping hole on the top.
+Cheaper.

I've seen this headphone time and time again for years at Big Lots--so you probably won't expect any discontinuement.

Steps:
1. Pick up the headphones at Big Lots. There's no brand name, just digital headphones--but they are exclusive BL headphones that cost $1. Literally one dollar. The store I went to actually had a few pairs unboxed. They aren't Coby or Sentry or something of that matter, something very corny.

2. Open up the headphones and completely remove the speakers and grill. You are now left with a bare build. (see photo 1)

3. Roll up four pieces of duct tape, not even an inch each, and place them on both sides of each earcup part of the build. I found this to hold the KSC75's fine but YMMV. Maybe sticker tape or even super glue will probably do best, but the latter will make this modification permanent. (see photo 2)

NOTICE: You best keep your KSC75 clips for a large number of reasons. They are required for Koss warranty and your last grace if you end up not liking this modification.

4. Place the KSC75's, unhooked onto the earcup build. (see photo 3) Notice they don't go directly into the earcup--this is the brilliant part of this mod vs. the[/I] CV130 and usual dollar store mods. The build is 100% open, therefore the sound will not change. (see photo 4)

5. Place the foam back up onto the build and you're done. (see photo 5)

So now you have something other than Accuras to pick up.

But accuras are still better =). But seriously I dont like the idea of duct tape I like the ones that snap in more.
