Well, my 2nd set of KSC-75s has 'died'. I believe it is the wire right by the headphone connector that gets messed up and loses connection

Does anyone have better (cheap) suggestions than to chop wires/plug off a useless set of headphones and solder stuff?

Though one of the pairs I kinda slightly modded by taking out the volume control circuitry...

and send them to Koss for replacement

lol I decided I didn't like waiting so I spent $4 at radioshack and I'm gonna replace the headphone plugs with straight ones..... $4 for two pairs, not bad
