I agree with most of the people here. Open up the back and you'll get a significantly better sound out of the phones. We did that to my roommate's KSC-75 and Sony V150, but he totally f-ed it up and made a mess of the backs.

so I was rummaging through a box of my brother's junk electronics and found an old pair of Koss KSC-75s.

I also found a some Sony MDR-NC7s, which suck.

I'm going to house the KSC-75's in the Sony cups. I tested it out and it should result in a really nice free set of headphones. I love the sound of the KSC-75s.
