Ordered the JBL LSR305's as suggested--found a nice deal on them. Reviews seemed to be the best of any monitor in that price range.

I just received them this morning. I haven't had a chance to listen a lot yet, but they sound wonderful so far, which is rare for new monitors. Even my Dynaudios needed a bit of a break-in period.

It includes isolation pads, four 10' XLR to TRS cables, and a passive volume box. I actually have no immediate use for any of it, but I'm sure I will find a use in the future, so it was nice to get the extras.

Nice deal. The MoPads are definitely good to have around for aiming tweeters up at ear level if needed.
