Koss Earpad Mod

I have some Koss TD70 headphones. The earpads have a thin plastic/flex cover on top of some standard fabric padding, which has the tendency to rip/tear. So, what I did was simply remove all the plastic stuff. They feel SOO much better!

yep, to turn Koss A/250's into a/200's, rip off the vinyl crap... Same with all of their "leatherette" headphones, they have the nice cloth pads under the vinyl....

Why would Koss want that plastic stuff over the cloth? I just pulled it of my TD-80s and they feel way more comfortable. I like Koss' cloth better than even the Senn 580s earpads. Too bad they don't sound nearly as good.
