Hi Guys,

Anyone know how good these are compared to today's greatest cds? Dated around 2000.

I just found an unopened box under some clutter.

I've no experience with those, but since it's God Ultima it's gotta be good

I used to buy the "regular" Ultima a few years ago and I've read some comments back then saying these were of really good quality.

I know they the gold ultima's are good. I just want to know how they compare to the current best. The current ones arent made my kodak anymore.

The current best are MAM-A. I would say they offer pretty much the same level of performance. Keep those Kodak Gold Ultima CD-Rs for precious recordings.

the best CD'S out there for any sort of recording be it data or music are Taiyo Yuden's
these are fantastic.
I have done some burns on these tested them on my liteon with Kprobe which basically picks up errors on the disc.

SO yeah Taiyo yuden's
those Kodak Gold's are hard to find ,
keep them for special discs only maybe compile your favorite songs on them for special listening sessions
