I was wondering how this jack is wired when using both wallwart and battery power? The part number at mouser is 163-4305.

When in doubt check the data sheet.
Let me save you the hassle----->
Wire the ground from the batteries to pin three and the ground for the amp to pin two.
Wire the positive lead from the amp to pin one and optionally use a diode to connect the batteries to the same lead.
The diode is just cheap insurance because those jacks are not always fool proof.

My bad, that is not the data sheet.... I ripped the revelant stuff from the datasheet and photochopped it. Hope it helps.
