Recently got a pair Of X12 Neckband version as a gift but I already have pretty good Bluetooth solution. So decided to try modding it to be wired for my portable setup "S9+ with 256GB SD card for my FLAC and WAV library paired with the RHA DACAMPL1 bypassing the S9's internal DAC&Amp )
Used a broken Noctua Audio Cable I had and success ! Sounds so much better when it's not leashed by Bluetooth. TBH I don't see the point of putting such a high Fidelity IEM to a Bluetooth neckpiece that was limited to Aptx not even AptxHD or LDAC. Even managed to add some heat shrink wrap to reinforce the area near the IEM.
Setup info ( The blue light is actually a wireless charging module I salvaged so my phone can charge while the L1 hogs the USB port HAH)

Well, one of the wires on my x20i gave up the ghost. No obvious event just notices sound was cutting out. The insulation is torn where the connector is. Need to call Klipsch to see how they handle it.

I have the exact same issue and I’m out of warranty. What was the result after you contacted Klipsch?
