Okay well I have some of the remix's. Theyre really nice, just the eartip fittings are really bothering me and the ones that are the biggest and sound the best feel like suction cups to my ears. I was recommending some s4i's and they seem to have got a positive review over at Cnet compared to my vmodas. reason why I want to exchange because the metal part is hurting my left ear and it's really not tolerable anymore. People who have tried both , which are you happiest with and why?

From my previous experience, Klipsch S4 is much better earphone than Vmoda Remix. To my ears, Vmoda sounds very flat and plain boring sound. Even though S4 emphasize upper range of mid-bass little but overall much better balance sound than Vmoda. Needless to say, I am not much fan of Vmoda sound signature. 
 
Actually I expect much better sound from Vmoda than S4 but opposite was true for me. Of course, YMMV.
