Doesn't look like you need a subwoofer cable.
Judging from this picture of the back of the receiver, you just use the Audio Out nearest the subwoofer out to feed the subwoofer.
No idea if you can safely hook up the HD500 satellites directly to the receiver.
RCA-to-3.5mm cables are unnecessary?

1 digital optical cable, from optical output on the Xonar DX to the optical input on the RX-V371, optical is best to use for gaming with the Xonar DX.
Optional is running HMDI from graphics card to RX-V371, then to computer monitor, best for Blu-ray movies, but bypass Xonar DX.
1 mono RCA to mono RCA cable, to connect the RCA sub-woofer out on the RX-V371 to the white RCA sub-woofer input on the Klipsch sub-woofer.
I'm guessing you will use around 50 feet of speaker wire cable,
max 3 to 4 feet for two front and one center channel speaker(s), max 12 feet for all three.
That would leave two 19' wires. for the two rears.
Order more then 50 feet of cable, you never know, 18 gauge should be fine.

The two front speakers connectors on the back of the RX-V371 can connect with bare wires or you can use 4 banana connectors.

ah i see well i guess theres no way to hook up 5.1 analog sound without buying a better receiver with multichannel analog? because the current one doesnt have multichannel support

but i could potentially get a 3.5mm to 2rca and just hook up my front speakers making a 2.1 analog if i wanted to?

Yea.
or return the RX-371 and buy a used AV receiver with RCA inputs.

So the sub-woofer will still use the mono Coaxial cable, from the "sub-woofer" RCA in the VSX-90TX pre-out to the Klipsch sub-woofer.
Would need premium (thick) 3.5mm (mini-jack) to RCA (red/white) cables, come in 3ft, 6ft,10ft,15ft length, one solid cable, no need for adapters.
I would have thought to use 18 gauge, but 16 gauge should work, most system ship with 22 or 24 gauge.
With the toslink, you might be able to pre-process the Dolby Virtual headphone with the Xonar DX and use the PCM setting to send it to the receiver over the toslink.
The receiver might do a better job of powering headphones over the Xonar DX.
Banana plugs are optional, but they look cool and saves time if you need to move the receiver.

"Now which one to use, open or closed" ??

oh lol the banana plugs i decided to go for closed banana plugs.

well my sound card the port is center/sub .. so i figure getting a 3.5 split to 2 rca in 15 feet would work k awesome!
