Hi folks,

does anyone know how the Klipsch Custom-2 compare to the UE super.fi 3? I am very satisfied with the sound of the super.fi 3, and the isolationlevel is also good enough for me, but I am looking for something with slightly more bass.
Is the Klipsch Custom-2 what I am looking for?

I've heard the Custom 2's but not the Super.Fi 3's. The Custom 2 has a good amount of bass but I wouldn't say it's bass heavy. Just adequate. The UE Metro.Fi 3s actually have more solid bass.

I would say the Custom 2 is a step above the UE SFi 3 in bass keeping in mind I was never satisfied with the fit of the UEs. If they fit you well you may or may not find them as much of an upgrade as I did. I was lucky enough to pick up the Custom 2 at Guitar Center on sale for $80. I'm very happy with them

. The Custom 2 has a cloth covered cord and is notorious for tangling and microphonics; I haven't found either to be a problem but some here have.
