Anyone out there compared the new C3 to the UM2's? I have UM2's and like their sound a lot. Was going to get W3's, but that's never going to happen at this rate. Would spring for the C3's if they offered a real upgrade from the UM2's. Any thoughts?
IMO, they are both a bit overpriced per their performance. From the reviews I would say not enough of an upgrade or none at all if you happen to like the Westone sound and presentation better. Perhaps buy and try then either return the Klipsch(30 day full refund policy) or sell the UM2. Not much risk. You would just be out the shipping as the cost for a free trial. That and you would be sort some funds for a few weeks till refunded.
And, of course, you would answer the question for yourself and countless other Head-fiers.
