Can anybody share any experiences with the Kimber Select series interconnects?

Got some coming...............I'd appreciate hearing anything, good OR bad. I live in the sticks and couldn't audition.

I have the KS-1111 connecting my CDP to preamp.
It is very well built and damn impressive looking but from a sonics standpoint I can't honesty say it delivers much/any benefits over the Hero or Straight Wire Chorus (...which btw is cheaper than BJC offerings).

Since my preamp (and system in general) is not into hyper detail retrieval so I think the chances of hearing differences between cables is less likely(?)

When factoring in the bang/buck I'm better off with Heros.

...did I mention they are quite impressive looking and come in a nifty water-proof Pelican case?

Party on Garth!!!

I had the KS-1011. As has been mentioned, very impressive in terms of build quality and presentation (pelican case, etc.)

However, sound quality - whilst good - was not on par with others at that price range, or even lower. I was more impressed with the Zu Gede (which still reside in my system).
