Babelfish Engrish:

Quote:

sells the ear plug type ear phone "KH-C701" which did sound quality tuning late December from. As for price at open price, as for shop front expectation price possibility approximately of 15,000 Yen.

The ear plug type ear phone which adopts the バランスド armature unit of small size and high efficiency. As for sensitivity as for 108dB and impedance 32 Ω. The filter which in HDD audio player "HD20GA7/HD30GA9" of the same company make is optimized was adopted, with combination with the same player, sound quality improvement was assured.

As for cable length 150cm. As for weight approximately 10g. The tip/chip of 2 step types whose sound insulation characteristic is high is adopted to the silicon year tip/chip. In addition the sponge year tip/chip and the carrying case, also the filter for exchange belongs.

So, KH-C701:
~$125USD
Sensitivity: 108dB
Impedence: 32 Ω
cable length 150cm

Er6-i:
1 kHz sensitivity: 108 dB @ 0.1V
Impedance: 16 Ohms

Er6:
Impedance: 48 Ohms
1 kHz sensitivity: 92 dB SPL for a 0.1 volt input

Seems different indeed?

Their flash players are creative rebrands and this is almost surely an ER6 with a slight change(cable maybe). Should sound the same or if it is a cable change they might not even sound quite as good. Anyway the Ety's are cheaper just like the Creative flash players are cheaper. Can't pay more just cause Kenwood is slapped on it.
