I have Turtle Beach Audio Micro sound card (all $26 of it) connected to my Kenwood analog receiver which I love and listen to jazz/classical music (Flac-foobar2000) files out to my DIY speakers.

I actually do have Chaintech AV710 PCI card somewhere in the garage and wonder if this will be a noticeable improvement. I want to keep on using the Kenwood (love those blue dial lights...)

Would appreciate any suggestions on improving the sound, thanks,

The AV-710 probably will be an improvement. Just hook up the sound card to your receiver in the same way that you did the TBAM.
