[Present-Tense]

I have been shopping around for one of these and I can't decide which one to pull the trigger on. I plan to use it to primarily listen to vinyl. Which one would you recommend?

I think both would be considerably similar, visually I prefer the 6100 but for what I researched some years ago the 7100 may have the edge soundwise

the upside is they both (assuming they are in good condition) are quite good amps... the 7100 has more power and is probably the better unit..   however at their age condition and service history could be the deciding factor..
 
when new the 7100 would have edged the 6100 out...  but there really is no "wrong" choice they both are very good amps.
