Honestely iGrado sound muddy if you compare to JBL refference 510 or 410. I would prefer to upgrade the IEMs(like SE530, TF10Pro, ER4P, AH-C700) or headphones(Bose Quietcomfort 3, AH-D2000) with Kenwood DAPs. BTW HD160GD9 willbe nice upgrade if Kenwood care lol.

Vibez, he just said in the first post. On the Kenwood site it says "Accepting pre-orders, will ship out on November," the non EC's go on October.

I am personally all over this

Thought id tip in by saying you can order both HD60GD9 and HD60GD9EC from bluetin japan. Of whom would probably pre-order from Kenwood Japan themselves.

HD60GD9 going for 579.20USD (available early october)
HD60GD9EC going for 609.97USD (Available ONLY by
Pre-Order before 15 Oct. Delivery end Nov.)

Hey one more thing (Sorry for being persistent about this), is the HD60GD9EC going to be available for a limited time only or is it available after November as well..? any ideas?

I'm not sure if Bluetin will list it soon. Audiocubes took ages to list the Kenwood after they came out in Japan.

Tony,

Surprisingly, Bluetin has updated their website to include the new Kenwoods

the only concern I have is whether the EC model will still be available for sale after 15th October or not (the current statement sounds confusing as if the EC model is available ONLY through pre-orders before the 15th of October).

I sense that some new reviews are coming.

EDIT: just looked at bluetin, I can't find any Kenwood at all.

So it's 610$ for the HD60GD9EC. Interesting, but it costs almost as much as the Pacemaker.

at 280 euros, the 30gb player seems quite nice, no drag and drop, theres no rockbox or alternative firmware for it ? and hows the kenwood managment software, do you have to install it or it runs from the player ?

Hmm, I am waiting for some reviews of the new players, especially the Gold edition

Hope i dont need to wait 'too long' for the reviews. What sounds strange to me is that none of the websites have gotten a 'preview' version of the models, which normally happens before the sale date...very strange indeed
