Yet another wireless headphone that is peaking my interest

I don't know about the design, it's certainly different. But my M500s were really bad build quality (swivel fell apart and the replacement ear cushions flaked quicker than the cushions that came with the set) so I don't know about another KEF headphone.

Well these get released this week, put in a pre-order on the KEF website. Curious how comfortable these are, how good the ANC is and how well they sound.

same Here. Though while reading about how to control the headphones, I am a bit skeptical. Not really sure why, just have bought or reviewed a lot of headphones, not as many in 2022 as previous years, but i've seen plenty examples of half-baked implementation of features, a couple had sluggish responses from touchpads, or the mics don't work well with a voice assistant etc.
None the less, I hope these are successful, and would like to give them a listen.
I love seeing different brands, especially speaker brands enter the headphone space, and want to see the market continue to expand.

This has real analog passthrough I believe.

Really? That would be great as then they're still useful after the batteries die. I just hope they have big enough ear cups so they're comfortable on my big ears.

I like the bronze(?)/black color and minimalist design, but no LDAC or AptX Adaptive in 2022 is a hard pass for me.
Well, mainstream phones don't support AptX Adaptive anyway. Samsung, Pixel or Apple don't support it. At least for the US, that's the vast majority of all phones sold.

You'd need to get more niche brands like Sony or Asus, or some of the Chinese brands.

Otherwise an odd omission, yes.
