I saw it in the CD store today, and had a quick listen, the impression I got was: "mmm... it sounds just like the first album"

For me, it was kind of disappointing.

Anyone who's got her first album who also have heard this "Piece by Piece" album, I would like to hear what you think about Katie's latest work.

Damn, I really like her and didn't even know she had a new one out. That sucks if it is really that similar to her last one. Did you sample the whole thing??

Not really, first five tracks, and non were too overwhelmingly different from the last album. Her vocal is still astonishing, but I don't see any growth in her songwriting ability, but YMMV, go have a listen too, and let me know what you think.

Apparently a few reviews I have read were all positive.
