[KA3/KA13] FIIO X JADEAUDIO USB DAC DONGLE

That is not ideal as sometimes you watch a movie you think you can sleep then you can't you watch a bit more and so forth...

Is better than nothing but I was always curious why all the dongles comsume so much energy when nothing is playing. Is like a car in idle state with the engine running. Yes, It spends gasoline but not with the same rate as moving.

Maybe the apple/Samsung adapter does the same but because it spends so much less energy is not noticed in one night.
Because Apple, Samsung and other devices have very little power and are not non-integrated Dacs

Ideally dongles would go to sleep mode after some time when no audio is being played, then wake back up when media is played again.

Is the KA13 ever going to get a programmable eq in the Fiio Control app? My Sundaras need a slight bass boost for my steam deck, the steam deck does not have an eq so I was hoping I could eq the sound using my KA13. Just wondering, thanks.

The KA13 does not support hardware EQ. KA17 is supported.

I want to design a timed shutdown function in the next generation of products to facilitate automatic shutdown and energy saving when sleeping at night. What do you think?
This would be nice but we need a solution for the product we already bought :) Is this doable with firmware update? If not a timer, maybe a wait to power down unit, like holding down both keys.

I don't like having to unplug after every listening session, which may last any from a few minutes to an hour. Frequent unplug/plug is damaging to the USB port, which is costly to fix.
