I have the K701s with the Black Dragon and like them a lot - for a while I owned both these and the stock K701s and whilst the differences were not huge, the modded ones were preferable to my ears. However, I have not heard K701s with the Silver Dragon cable, though I seem to remember someone saying that this combo was perhaps a bit too bright. Hope that helps
