I'm wondering. What are the differences between the K601 and the K701? Does the 601 have the fantastic soundstage of the 701, and is the sound more... well, bassy?

And for even more comparison fun, what are the variances to the Senn 580s?

The K701 with that big bass and somewhat spiky lower treble = a little sucked out midrange, should (I say should) have a little different overall balance from the HD580; perhaps that's part of the reason for that fantastic soundstage..
