Hello,
 
I'm new on this forum, but I read it since several months.
 
I bought 1 month ago a K701 and the sig is exactly what I want.
 
Actually the K701 is used with my laptop and I know that without an amp the K701 is not at its full power.
So I want to buy a good amp and if possible with a DAC (24/96)
My budget is low : 200$
 
I read many posts and I found the EMU0204 that sounds good and cheap.
Is it a good combo for the K701 ?

Considered the FiiO E9 (could almost go with the E7/E9 combo)? Little Dot MK2/3?
 
Do you need portable (E7, nuDac2, Vivid V1, E11, etc)? This is the potable section of the forum.

Portable yes, but not for an MP3 player.
I travel for my job and in my hostel room I want to listen to music with my K701, so I need a compact amp/dac
 
For amp only E9 ok, but I think i can improve the sound with an USB DAC and I have some 24/96 flac musics, but E7 is only 16/44
Or another combo in same prices

Also, check out iBasso D4 in the $200 range. I assume you're using a laptop or something as source?

Yes, I'm using a laptop, so it's why I want a DAC USB cause on the laptop, the sound card is integrated to the motherboard
