Sort of curious, now that I've gone and already bought the K501s, as to how they compare to the 601s. Some of the reviews I've read on the 601s seem to indicate they're a darker, less clinical can, a bit more "alive" than the 501s. I know the 501s are said to be great for acoustic stuff and vocal recordings, but do the 601s stay on that same note, just with a bit warmer sound signature, or are they really designed for a whole different type of music?

K501s aren't here quite yet, but I've been pondering getting a set of DT150s, just to see what they're like, as well as being curious on the 601s.
