Hi all,

So I just came into possession of some dynamat and fiberfill today to play with my AD2000s, and I forgot I also have a pair of k280s to work on as well. The thing is I can't get the outer cup off (not attached to the driver housing), i.e. part 11 in this picture:

I was wondering if anyone could help me out, I want to get in there and change the foam. Thanks!

It just snaps off, but will be difficult to remove if you don't already have the middle part loose. If you have the earcup disassembled already, what I do is stick a screwdriver underneath the inner lip of it and pry it off. It takes very little force and will pop right off.

Thanks a lot Fitz! You were right, all too easy to just pop those things off. Although a little lack of care and I pulled those wires attached to the conducting headband right off. Should be easy enough to duct tape back together though
