I still have my doubts that the Chinese web site is accurate, A JVC rep was quoted otherwise. It is a limited edition commemoration of the anniversary of their Greater China distributor. If it really was different/better, you would expect it to also be sold in Japan but it was not.

Yes they do. That's why I am still puzzled by the chinese JVC site's statements regarding the 30% improvement of the DX2000.

Tried to get my japanese friend to write the JVC headquarters to clarify if there's any difference berween the DX1k and 2k but she is too damn busy to do so!
