Amazon.com: Marshmallow Ear Bud,black: Electronics
Slight changes to the headphones. It is the HAFX35. Just bought it today and like it. Same frequency response specs. Sensitivity goes from 100db/mw to 102db. Has some nice physical changes. It includes the small and medium foamies as the previous generation, and they appear to be the same size. So far the changes over the HAFX34 are:
1) Cord is 6 inches longer. (Amazon description is WRONG. Cable is now 3.94 feet and it shows) Previous generation is way too short. Very nice.
2) There is a protuberance on the side of the earbuds so you can more easily stuff them into your ears instead of the strictly round design of the previous generation. They do seem to fit deeper into the ear then the previous generation although i didn't notice much of a reduction in sound
3) Slightly smaller paper filter in the actual earbuds. The plastic tube surrounding the filter is a little more narrow and the rubber insert on the tube is now a sturdier white plastic rather than a rubbery little insert. It is also easy to take off the rubber insert by twisting off if you want to experiment with smaller foamies (although shure olives still cannot fit on them unless you decored). Don't notice any changes in sound, although I am no audiophile. Still like how they sound.
Also, the earbud jack is a little less snug unfortunately. Very small change though.
Other thoughts?
