Well, let's start off with what I have in mind, I'm planning on getting the X7 sometime in the future, a vast upgrade from the entry-level X1, and when I get that, I also plan to buy a decent pair of IEM's.

I've narrowed it down to these two options, since the others are too expensive, or, don't seem comfortable enough for my tiny ears while not being suited for a basshead. From the reviews, I'll be making my ears do the decision, as I did not regret purchasing the CKS55, but I know it's time for an upgrade.

JVC HA FX850 Here:

ATH-IM03 Here:

I'm looking for something that feels like a deep ear massage, something that's damn near ethereal with the sound quality, now, I don't expect perfection, but I do expect greatness and versatility, especially when it comes to the bass, but, I'm stumped between these two options, I've been reading countless reviews on the both of them and they seem so good, I'd like them both, but I can't afford to go way over $1000+ with my music budget just yet.

On one hand, the IM03 has more output power, but on the other hand, the JVC has a higher frequency response, they both have replaceable cables so that is a plus, I usually like to exercise while listening to music, so the wood in the FX850 seems like a turn-off convenience-wise.

Any help and/or different IEM brands welcome.
