JVC flats or Seenheiser HD 201?

The 201s are only $20 on Amazon.. Anyway. From my experience with my 201s, they are very light. Mostly comfortable. I do wish the pads were a bit bigger because isolation isn't all that impressive.

I mainly just use them while playing video games. I got mine for $8 at a local thrift store so I can't complain.

I really dislike the 201. They feel so cheap (well they are...), sound is bad and fit is bad. I would really recommend spending more or you'll be disappointed.

I feel the same way. The HD201s just aren't that great (personally).... again, bad fit and too bright for me.

Save up for a little longer and look for headphones ~$50. Then you'll be much more happy.

Let's just say I want to buy only something from these two. What would you recommend?
Flats or the HD 201? (also considering the Panasonic RP-HX40)

I only expect a good sound quality and a good bass.

Cord length, comfort, loudness are not big issues.

What would you recommend?

Not the 201.

I don't know anything about the JVCs but I'd expect they're crap as well.
