Always had an inkling to pick up a Horowitz bio. Came today in the mail.

After reading the first page I know it's going to be good. The writing style is very good.

FYI piano fans. Peace.

(author Glenn Plaskin, pub. 1983, ~600 pages)

It'd be fun to start a Horowitz thread in the music forum.

Sweet! Thanks for the recommendation. Horowitz is my favourite pianist (though I prefer Gould for the Bach variations).

Seriously though, thanks for the tip. I'll be looking for this bio for certain.

Wow thats six degrees of separation right there..

Anyway, do I fail at life if I saw horowitz and thought Horowitz and Hill? (as in the writers of the Art of Electronics)
