I walked into work this morning to a pleasant suprise. My DT990s arrived from amazon. Me likes.

They are a little bigger than I am used to, but not to bad. Very comfortable so far. The sound is great (for only having listened to them for 4 hours give or take an hour).

Would like to recable. Do not like the one sided coiled cable. Anyone have any info or has anyone done this. I have not had much luck searching on the forums.

I'm looking forward to receiving mine tomorrow...

I think I'll probably like the coiled cable, as it should make it harder for me to strangle myself in my sleep when wearing them (my DT531 cable always seems to end up coiled round my neck if I fall asleep wearing them!).
