After exhaustive research I decided to order the 0HA-REP for my on-a-budget classical setup.

Xenos 0HA-REP Enhanced Performance Mini Headphone Amp - $89.99.

To be paired with:
AKG K 501 Headphones - $129.95
Line-out on an iPod with 320kbps AAC files.

Anyone else have experience with this particular amp?

I'll do my best to post a detailed review once it gets in, doesn't seem like it has gotten a lot of press here outside of Andrea's impressions.

Yargh! Wrong forum! Sorry moderator-people!

I do not have this amp

Although I have loved these headphones,
detail, air, sparkling mids . . . enjoy them

I don't know how much this will help, but personally, I found it to bit a bit warm sounding, more so than what my test graphs represent.
I guess its equipment synergy.

On the Goldring DR150, the lower bass extension was brought out more, there was slightly more slam but some 'snap' seems to have been lost. Mids became ever so slightly more forward and the treble region remained untouched.

On the Audio Technica ATH-CK7, the improvements were substantial. Bass extension was represented better and the recessed midrange of the CK7 was alleviated a little. Again like the DR150, the treble region remained untouched.

On the Shure E4G however, there was perpetually no difference.
