Just got the shipping confirmation. So I should have it by the end of the week. I can hardly wait!!!

I'm going to order some NiMH AAAs for this. Any thoughts on how long a set of these will last (real experience)? On Fixup's site he states about 30-40 hours, which is more than adequate for me.

I'll post my impressions when I get it.

HI: Good luck with your new amp. The first set of batt go real fast. My alkaline batt only lasted 30 hours on the first burn in but the second set whent over 60 hours. so burn in eats batt at first.

I'm planning to order the super mini as well.. One question.. will this amp work right out of the box? Does it include the cable to hook up to my portable?

HI: Congrats on you new amp. it does not come with a cable mini to mini. You can get one at fixup site or headroom or cheep at rat shack but it is a cheep sounding cable at rat shack.

I assume its the 1-5 days one.

Somewhere between 1 and 5 days sounds about right... thats the shipping I got on mine. I ordered it yesterday at about 3:30pm PST, so I'm hoping that it'll be here by Monday or Tuesday of next week.
